OUR STORY

Born in San Francisco, raised in Vermont, I landed back on the West Coast of Northern California in 2008. I would describe myself as wild at heart, salt of the earth & a natural-born mystic.

Invoke Hats is my soul child. I became obsessed with making hats after waking up from a dream in my Berkeley studio in 2023 that spawned me to paint an Ouroboros on an old hat that was hanging around the space. 

 

I took lessons with Mar Calvo, a Sagittarius wild style milliner based off of the island of Ibiza. In our lessons, she encouraged me to think outside the box, to break the rules of traditional Millinery and paint the hats with my hands. I incorporate my lifelong study of astrology, tarot, symbology, healing and alchemical art into my custom and ready-to-wear designs. The concept of Invoke Hats was created with the intention to produce Talismanic hats, invoking positive energy to the wearer and protecting the crown chakra.

Outside of Hatmaking, I am a licensed and practicing bodyworker of 18 years, visual artist and poet.
